Information we collect

When you submit a Yard Studios request, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, property location, yard measurements, project goals, preferences, budget range, timeline, and other details. We also collect the yard photos you choose to upload.

How we use it

We use this information to review your property, understand your goals, communicate with you, prepare or discuss a potential landscape concept, and provide Yard Studios services. We do not use your information or photos for unrelated advertising.

Photos and project examples

Your uploaded photos are used to evaluate and design for your outdoor space. We will not publicly share your name, property photos, or completed design as a portfolio example without asking for your permission.

Storage and protection

Submission records and photos are stored in a restricted area of the Matherne Works hosting account. They are not placed in a public website folder. Access is limited to authorized Yard Studios personnel through a password-protected owner dashboard.

Email and service providers

We use email and website-hosting providers to receive requests, send confirmations, store submissions, and operate the service. We do not sell or rent customer information. We may disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect customers, Yard Studios, or Matherne Works.

Retention

We keep submission information and photos only as long as reasonably needed to evaluate the request, provide the service, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a submission unless we must retain part of it for legal or recordkeeping reasons.

Website security

The intake form uses a temporary session cookie to protect the submission process. The form does not collect payment-card information.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information associated with your Yard Studios submission. Include your confirmation number when possible so we can locate the correct project.
